About The Workshop
At the heart of the Internet of Everything (IoE) model is the promise to bring together people, data, processes, and things, with the goal of improving existing processes and enhancing people's lives. A crucial challenge in IoE is the shift from the "connections among things" paradigm to "connections among people, processes, data, and thingsā. Similarly, the concept of Industry 5.0 is gaining traction in the industrial ecosystem, with a need to increase productivity while keeping human workers involved in manufacturing processes. The solution is to create hybrid ecosystems that seamlessly integrate smart machines with humans as collaborators.

Submission
Submission Instructions
Full Paper (4-6 pages)
Authors are invited to submit their original research work that has not previously been submitted or published in any other venue. Workshop session papers need to be submitted in IEEE CS Proceedings format. IEEE formatting info can be found here.
All the accepted papers will be published by IEEE in the Conference Proceedings (IEEE-DL and EI indexed). Best Paper Awards will be presented to high-quality papers. Selected papers will be recommended to prestigious journal Special Issues.
Some papers originally submitted as full papers can be accepted as short papers during the review process. In such cases, the authors will need to reduce the paper accordingly when preparing the camera-ready version. At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register and present the paper at the conference.
- Paper Submission: 10 August 2024
- Acceptance Notification: 1 Sept 2024
- Camera-ready Submission: 27 Sept 2024
Please note that for the camera-ready version, the page limit is 6 pages. However, a maximum of two extra pages per paper is allowed (i.e., up to 8 pages), at an additional charge of $100 per extra page.
We refer the authors to the conference website for detailed and updated instructions.
Papers need to be submitted via EDAS (https//edas.info/N32602) and select HIEMI2024 Track.
